Honey Balsamic Beef Roast

Honey Balsamic Roast
Easy and Delicious Slow-Cooker Meal!

Ingredients:
1 Blade Roast
Vegetable Oil or Butter
2 cups Beef Broth
3/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar
1/3 cup Soy Sauce
1/2 can Tomato Paste
3/4 cup Honey
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1 TBSP. Dijon Mustard
1/2 Onion, diced
1 TBSP each Garlic Powder, Oregano, Basil
1/2 tsp. Smoked Paprika
1/4 tsp. Black Pepper
1/4 tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
1 Bay Leaf

Instructions:
1. Heat oil or butter over high heat in a skillet, sear roast on all sides until browned.
2. Add to slow cooker along with all other ingredients.
3. Cook on LOW for 7 hours or until fall apart tender. If desired, flip roast halfway through.
4. Remove roast to cutting board and add all sauce to a pot. Simmer for 25-30 minutes OR until thickened.
5. Shred roast beef and add back into slow cooker with thickened sauce.
6. Enjoy on sandwich or with side of choice! Served in photo above with parmesan-baked green beans and mashed potatoes.
