Hot honey baked feta dip

A perfect fall or winter appetizer that combines salty feta and sweet honey with a bit of heat.

Ingredients:

1 large block feta cheese
1/4 cup honey
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 tsp chili flakes
1 Tbsp hot sauce (optional)
Sprinkle of fresh thyme for garnish
Bread or crackers of choice

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 400 F. Place block of feta into baking dish or cast iron pan. Drizzle olive oil over feta.

2. Bake 8-10 minutes, then remove from oven and break apart with a spoon. Set oven to broil.

3. Mix honey with chili flakes and drizzle over feta. Put mixture into blender or food processor and process until smooth.

4. Return to baking dish and put back in oven. Bake for 5 minutes or until top begins to brown.

5. Remove from oven and top with thyme and a drizzle of hot sauce if more spice is desired. Enjoy with crackers or bread!
